Do you remember these old typewriters? I learned the touch system on one of these machines. Authors used to write their stories by typing the keys. Tap, tap, tap….  The last time I saw a mechanical typewriter was in 2006 in New York, Greenwich Village. I was sitting in a caffee bar. Young people around me, chatting or surfing with laptops, drinking cafe or thé.  Sudendly I heard this sound. Tap, tap, tap…. a young man was writing his story.

So why a blog? The typewriter doesn’t fit in our baggage. And we want to share our adventures, some thoughts, impressions, pictures and, who knows, maybe some emotions with you. We dont know if it works, we dont know if we find time to blog. But let’s try and see what happens.

You will find posts in English, French, Portuguese and German. We think this makes it even more interesting and we can address friends in England, France, Portugal and Switzerland.

Everybody is strongly invited to write some comments. The only thing you have to do first is to register on the website. It’s easy and done in a view seconds. You also find a contact form where you can send us some words.

The luggage is ready, tomorrow at 7 a.m. we are going to take off, destination Los Angeles. Mimi, Rebeca and I are very happy and excited. Follow us on our blog.

    Pagi
